Restoration Park Church is seeking a highly capable and mission-driven Director of Operations to help us advance our vision of leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
This position serves as the primary operational leader of the church and a strategic partner to the Lead Pastor, ensuring that the systems, staff, finances, and organizational structures necessary for ministry effectiveness are operating with excellence.

Position Summary
The Director of Operations serves as the chief operational leader of the church and works closely with the Lead Pastor to translate vision into execution.
This individual oversees church operations, organizational development, financial stewardship, staff performance, ministry systems, and administrative functions. The Director of Operations helps ensure that ministries are equipped, aligned, and supported to accomplish their mission effectively.
Primary Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Vision Execution
Serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the Lead Pastor.
Translate leadership’s vision into actionable plans and measurable goals.
Organize annual planning processes and ministry goal setting.
Ensure alignment between church vision, ministry initiatives, and organizational priorities.
Staff Leadership & Organizational Development
Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability for ministry and administrative staff.
Lead staff meetings, leadership development efforts, and performance reviews.
Foster a healthy culture of teamwork, collaboration, excellence, and accountability.
Clarify roles, responsibilities, and organizational expectations.
Financial Oversight
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and stewardship practices.
Work alongside ministry leaders and church leadership to develop annual budgets.
Ensure sound financial controls and regulatory compliance.
Provide regular financial updates and recommendations to church leadership.
Operations & Systems Management
Develop and maintain systems that support effective ministry execution.
Improve organizational processes and communication workflows.
Oversee church-wide calendar coordination and project management.
Identify opportunities for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
Governance & Risk Management
Support the work of elders and church leadership through reporting and planning.
Ensure compliance with church policies, bylaws, and legal requirements.
Oversee safety procedures, insurance coverage, and risk management initiatives.
Volunteer & Ministry Support
Develop systems for volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and training.
Equip ministry leaders with resources and operational support.
Create scalable structures that support church growth.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated leadership experience in church, nonprofit, business, or organizational settings.
Experience leading teams and developing people.
Strong organizational, administrative, and project management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Commitment to the mission, values, and doctrinal beliefs of Restoration Park Church.
Preferred
Advanced degree (MBA, MDiv, or related field).
Previous church leadership experience.
Experience overseeing budgets and financial reporting.
Experience leading organizational growth and change.
